20th November 2000 - The arrival of the Millennium Bridge
Crowds throng Newcastle Quayside to see the giant floating crane 'Asian Hercules' arrive with the new bridge.
Because the bridge is wider than the river, it was suspended 'lengthwise' for the journey.
