As work begins to convert the docks the old dock gates were dredged from the river bed and re-installed.
The second picture in April 2008 shows leakage - note the nearly complete call centre on the South shore

Despite press publicity of their success, the attempt on the second set of gates seems to fare no better as the April 2008 picture on the right shows
The centre dock was never sealed and at this time (2021) the sealed outer docks are full of rainwater as seen in the panorama shot later
