Car Park - then what?
The newly opened Shepherd Energy Park was been leased to a car dealer who used it to store cars and vans. The crane at the right is the second tunnel construction site as shown in the previous photo. This occupied the site for 18 months after which the docks will all be back-filled and levelled.
More cars in 2011 - the docks used to build the new tunnel sections are being in-filled and the unwanted former ice-breaker Ice Maiden is moored.
By 2013 the vehicles have all been moved elsewhere and the dry-docks nearly all backfilled.
